STODT scenario: Collaborative machine tending

The application implemented in STODT is Machine tending, i.e., the process of loading and unloading parts in a machine. Currently, machine tending is done manually, except for some specific milling cells in which robots are used to load parts in milling machines. With the developed system, workers can perform high added-value operations, such as part verification, machining monitoring, meanwhile the robot loads and unloads parts.
